Very nice ambience, attentive and nice service and the excellent food complete the overall picture.

Perfect, you couldn't ask for more after a long day on the mountain and enjoy food and hospitality.

Somewhat remote, but fantastically located restaurant with a grandiose menu and a beautiful beer garden. Had ordered 7 dishes from the menu, all very good!

Extremely unfriendly staff, including the boss. The food is too expensive for the quality. € 6 for an iced coffee is outrageous. The spinach dumplings were fibrous. We were there for the first and for sure the last time.

Portions not that big but very, very tasty. Price performance a little higher, therefore one star deduction. But otherwise the location, beer garden, playground, everything is great.

The Hörmann family runs the beautiful inn in the 4th generation. The beer garden invites you to linger. The homemade cakes as well as the snacks and warm dishes are worth one or more visits. The restaurant is also known in Sonthofen & Oberstdorf for its hospitality. After dinner, the Kemptner Forest is ideal for a walk. Rest day: Thursday & Friday Tobias snack, 1x cappuccino, 1x strawberry cake, 2x cheese cream, 1x passion fruit spritzer 0.4, 2x elderberry spritzer 0.4, 1x carrot 0.5 for € 38.60 We would love to come back. We went there because of the positive reviews. On the way I thought there was definitely nothing going to happen so far out there. But the way was worth it. Very nice place with in great surroundings. The food was great too, we'll be back!

A very nice guest house, with friendly, competent and fast staff. The food is excellent and plentiful. A specialty that is rarely found: the beef comes from our own cattle, which you can watch outside on the meadow while standing around satisfied (before the cattle are invited to eat). We felt very comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back.

A great place to stop for a bite to eat! We were only outside, so no assessment of how it is inside. Great playground, parents can sit and eat in sight. Large playground. And the best ... Great food, brisk service. Recommendable

If you go 4x to the same inn in a week's vacation, it has to be good! The food was very tasty, if you like it I recommend the beef liver, mmmmhhhhh! Picture number 1 is a garlic soup, also very tasty! But the staff also make you feel very comfortable here. If we are close again, we will definitely come back!

Delicious and high quality food in a lovely inn. Excellent taste and reasonably priced. Beef from our own production. Friendly and competent service. Combined with a walk in the beautiful surroundings, a successful day. We stayed at the nearby campsite for a week.

Tobias is a family owned and run restaurant right at the edge of the Kempten forest area. It's 100% authentic and with some luck you will run into some traditional local family great dressed up in local traditional Lederhosen / Dirndl on national holidays or Sundays. It's quite remote, so don't count on local transports, but with some guide you can take the bike through the forest starting from Durach or Bodelsberg. It's best visited during summer when fields are lush and you can sit outside and take a trip around the forest. Meals are hearty dishes, mostly based on beef or deer, which is from local premises. Vegetarian options are rare, but on some days they serve Käsespätzle, the local speciality. Prices are regular and mostly you get a personal welcome from one of the three generations of the family. The former farmhouse now restaurant is well visited and sometimes quite crowded

In the summer,if you stop by for a cold drink or a meal ,it will be somthing very prefect, because the restaurant is located in a location suitable for cycling ,or walking out, or walking for relaxation. The atmosphere is very refreshing. of course salad is healthy. Fast and friendly service. If you sit in the garden you will see atond the green. Green color of nature helps improve eye health. You will also see cows. If you like this atmosphere, this restaurant is another interesting option.

Cozy and rustic country inn in the middle of nowhere. The salad was fresh, tasty and had a good dressing. The rump steak was as ordered medium rare, very juicy and tender, praise to the chef! This was also significantly larger than I expected. To emphasize is definitely the herb butter !! This is very tasty. Have never eaten such a good herb butter! Lovely again!

Historic place, authentic, family owned and run. It lacks proper vegetarian alternatives and they good step up their game when it comes to the preparation of meat. Other wise a very recommendable place, been there many times in my life and it was never a disappointing experience (and that is not something you can say about all restaurants in the area)
